Pilates and Yoga Fusion Workshop Series with Gill Bertram
Open to those who have done one year of either Pilates or Yoga. Ten people maximum.

All workshops are held at our matclass home, Central Studio.
- Pilates and Yoga are complimentary disciplines and this workshop brings you the best practices of both. The class begins by breath awareness and gentle stretches, gradually becoming more challenging through the hour and a half.
- It is a flowing class, with some held Yoga postures which build static strength and flexibility. The faster paced movements of Pilates, give you dynamic muscle work.
- Both disciplines arrive at the same point of using the breath to control the mind and body. Gill uses the Pilates and Yogic idea of centering with the deep transverse abdominals. She combines this with the Yogic Ujjayi breath (‘victorious breath’). The practice ends with the calming Yoga Nidra and Savasana relaxation.
