At Bea Alexander Pilates, we run over twenty Pilates matclasses a week with highly qualified full-time teachers, Bea, Gill, Katy, Katia, Valentina, Abby and Rebecca.
All our Pilates matclasses are live-streamed
Our Pilates classes are divided into five levels of experience, beginners, level 1 is post-beginners, level 2 is lower intermediate, level 3 is higher intermediate and level 4 is advanced Pilates. Matclasses are limited to a maximum of 16 online so we can be interactive and give helpful corrections.
We run specialist classes such as Dynamic Pilates and Yoga Fusion, Pilates for Runners & Cyclists, Pilates for your Back etc. See the timetable for the full list.
Our physical venues are, Central Studio, 14a Broughton Street Lane, Edinburgh, EH1, Gathering Essence which is just next door at 10a, and at the Eric Liddell Centre in Morningside EH10.
We are continuing to teach online classes up to the 11th of September. Up to the 29th of August is the summer term and you can book classes any time you like and use the 5, 9 and 18 class passes up to this date. You cannot carry the passes in to the next two weeks.
Monday 31st August to Friday 11th September – we have two more weeks of online classes with the timetable further down the page. All of these classes are booked as one-offs at the reduced price of £11. You can choose to attend as many or few as you like and can cancel up to 24 hours in advance and change your booking to another class during these two weeks. You cannot carry the money over in to the Autumn term.
Summer Pilates Matclass Term 2020
Monday 29th June to Friday 28th August – Nine Weeks
- All classes can be booked individually this summer, so you can create your own timetable of classes over the nine weeks with as many classes as you like included.
- You can pay for classes as one-offs or buy passes for 5, 9 and 18 classes, valid for the nine weeks of the summer term.
- You can cancel any class in your MINDBODY account up to 24 hours in advance.
- In the timetable, classes are marked as CS = Central Studio, ELC = Eric Liddel Centre, GE = Gathering Essence and Online = stays online with no class venue . These indicate the venues the classes will return to physically.

- 1 Summer Class £12.50
- 5-Class Summer Pass £60 (£12 a class)

- Passes apply to one person and cannot be shared (Imagine the complex software needed to understand you are sharing a pass with another person.)
Two Weeks Extra Pilates Matclasses
Monday 31st August to Friday 11th September
- All classes can be booked individually for these two weeks at the reduced price of £11.
- You can cancel any class in your MINDBODY account up to 24 hours in advance. The money goes in to your account and you can use it for another class durng the two weeks.
- It it your responsibilty to cancel a class you can no longer attend. Please cancel 24 hours in advance as you will be charged for classes from 23-0 hours before the start so we ca pay the teachers. Thank you for your understanding.

Enrolment Form
If you are new to Bea Alexander please download and complete our Matclass Enrolment Form and email it to us (If you have attended classes with us before, you do not have to do this at the beginning of each term, but do let us know if your personal details or health alters).
Terms and Conditions
Please note that you can cancel classes up to 24 hours in advance by going in to your own MINDBODY schedule. If you cancel between 23-0 hours before a class you will be charged for the class. We need to do this even if you are not well as we need to pay the teachers. Thank you for understandng.
Once you have bought a summer pass, it is non-refundable and needs to be used by the 29th August 2020. Classes between the 31st August and the 11th of September are paid for individually. We use MINDBODY scheduling software and online payment is taken through ‘Optimal Payments’ via debit or credit card. Please see our Privacy Policy
