Gill Bertram is teaching the Friday lunchtime General Pilates Class, 12.30-1.30pm, live online, from Friday 17th to Friday 28th August.

If you want to attend all seven of the classes, you do need to use the ‘recurring booking’ section on the MINDBODY website [ not the APP where you would have to book in for each class one-at-a-time].

Currently  you can buy passes for the summer classes. Booking for individual classes will open on Monday 13th of July.


Autumn Term Pilates Classes: Fourteen Weeks Monday 7th September to Friday 18th December 2026 [Half-Term Off, 12th October]

Gill Bertram of Bea Alexander Pilates is teaching one class at the Yoga Room, 3-5 Forth Street, EH1 3JX

The Yoga Room is a spacious, calm studio just off lively Broughton Street, with its plethora of cafes and restaurants.  It has been a home-from-home for Bea Alexander Pilates classes for over fifteen years.

Monday 12.30-1.30pm Small Group Pilates Class, In-Person Attendance Only

This class is a wonderful, friendly, very small class aimed at people wanting to practice Pilates a a good solid, steady General level. It is not suitable for complete beginners – you could do a couple of Privates with Gill first to be able to attend, or do the Friday lunchtime class at Blue Morpho which does have beginners.

Many of the people in this class are retired, and the class is great at aiding joint strength, core stability, keeping flexibility, gaining and maintaining better proprioception and balance. Gill adapts exercises to suit individuals needs. Please join us!

Booking for the class will open half-way through the summer block. 

 

IMPORTANT BOOKING REMINDERS

  • Yoy can buy a fourteen-class pass for the full Small-Group Class 
  • You DO NEED to get your name in to the register for all fourteen classes, otherwise your place is not secured and you will not be able to use the rescheduling facility. Please follow the ‘Recurring Booking’ Instructions.
  • To Book, please use the MINDBODY website, not the app, and find the ‘Recurring Booking’ section. Make sure you put the first date of the class in ‘First Date’ [there is a drop down list and it will be 7th September 2026] and in ‘End Date’, select the last date on the list which will be the 14th December 2026. Then click on the ‘Recurring Booking’ tab.

Example below is from Fridays Autumn Term 2025, but the same principles apply

  • Please DO NOT book out of any classes, even if you already know you cannot attend them, or someone else booking might think there is a place available. 
  • Once the term has started on 7th September you can book put of classes up to 24 hours in advance and as your class is distinct from all of the others, being a small group class, you can ask Bea for up to three ‘make up’ classes during the furteen week term. Email Bea at classes@beaalexanderpilates.co.uk or text 07951686322 at leat 24 hours in advance of the class you wish to make up in and Bea will book you in to your chosen class,  subject to availability.
